           1. Sports have great importance (4) in human life. In the past no importance was attached to sports in our country. But now we have realised that sports are very useful. So, every educational institution of our country provides for sports. As a matter of fact sports are a necessary part of education.

            2. The value of sports is very great. To enjoy good health we should take part in sports. Health is the most valuable thing in our life. Sports are essential for the development () of body and mind. We cannot do any work if our health is poor. Sports are necessary for improvement of health and physical strength. 
       

   3. Sports have many advantages (). They improve our health and physical strength. They are necessary for improvement of body and mind. When we take part in sports, our body gets a vigorous exercise. Sports are held in the open air. When we take part in sports, we breathe fresh air. So, sports improve our health and physical strength. Sports teach us many qualities. When we take part in sports, we have to obey some rules. So, sports teach us discipline (S), which is very useful in practical () life. Sports teach us self-control (-) A good sportsman (खिलाड़ी) does not exult (अत्यधिक आनंद मनाना) in victory (विजय). Sports develop some qualities which prove useful in practical life.

              4. Though sports are very useful, they are not free from dis advantages (). They damage ( our health if we indulge in them too much. They take up much of a student's time.
