1. The school garden is the most attractive (3) place in a school. Usually every school has a garden. A school without a garden in its compound looks ugly () and dull (R). A beautiful garden makes the school a charming (3) place. So, every school should have a beautiful garden.

2. The school garden should be located in the compound of the school. It must be fenced (3). There should be a well

or tube-well in the garden so that the plants may be watered. The garden should be divided into two parts. A part of the garden should be kept for growing vegetables and fruits. Another portion of the garden should be set apart for planting flowers. There should be a gardener to look after the garden regularly (Fra). Different kinds of flowers should be planted in the school garden. The garden must have both the Indian and the English flowers. The Indian flowers have good smell but they are rather plain. The English flowers do not have a strong scent but they are remarkable for their dazzling (n) colours. Rose, jasmine (a), marigold (), dahlia, the sun-flower and the lilies must be planted in the school garden. If the beds of flowers are carefully arranged, the garden looks very beautiful.Different kinds of vegetables can be grown in the school garden.
